I do all my key remapping with xmodmap, but depending on your desktop
environment there may be an easier way. Are you using MATE (Trisquel 8's
default) or are you using a different DE?

Is it possible to install snap on Trisquel Mini?
If i type "sudo apt install snapd" it gives me:
Package snapd is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

It should be listed in the add-ons. It is here. I am pretty sure it is
because the "xul-ext-lightning" package is installed. That said I guess you
could as well install the Lightning extension from this file (as you did for
CardBook):

Lightning doesn't show up under Add-ons either, if that helps in any way.
