Did you see any indications of packages being held back? If so you can try a dist-upgrade. Let me know if this helps. sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade Here are the differences with the upgrades: upgrade upgrade is used to install the newest versions of all packages

ClamTk = GUI for ClamAV. Keep things lite on the system, run ClamAV in the command line. I'll do this when sending files to family friends who uses Windows as a safety precaution.

From what your saying maybe the FSF should consider staying with Debian on their servers. Only reason I mention this is because of the delays in security updates with Trisquel.

When running any operating system security has to be the top priority then stability. There are no excuses when it comes down to security. Hopefully this is taken serious and rectified soon.

Hello, On Trisquel 6.0.1 and Evolution 3.2.3 I've never been able to get the indicator applet 0.5.0 (envelope in panel) to show new email message counts, it always shows 0. I verified plugin is enabled (evolution indicator) within Evolution. Is this a broken feature, if so can anyone

Hi, I'm trying to run Trisquel from a boot disc. It prompts me to enter a username/password. When I leave blank it fails. What do I need to enter to log in? Any help appreciated. Thanks
