I realize your all talking about abrowser 39 but it may be related to this
known issue. Also it only effects 32 bit systems.

Did you see any indications of packages being held back? If so you can try a
dist-upgrade. Let me know if this helps.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Here are the differences with the upgrades:
upgrade
upgrade is used to install the newest versions of all packages
Open up the command line.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
This has been a known bug for some time now. Can read more about the bug here

Good to know Trisquel 6 has been patched. Will upgrade later this evening.
Thanks
I agree! Please remove it. Thanks
Amazing! Nothing has changed (month later) in terms of security updates.
Think about what you said. Makes you wonder...
Can more confirm this? I also haven't had any security updates in awhile.
Thanks
ClamTk = GUI for ClamAV. Keep things lite on the system, run ClamAV in the
command line. I'll do this when sending files to family friends who uses
Windows as a safety precaution.
Now a problem with the update manager! These type of problems will lead
people away from Trisquel. Lately this been an on going issue with updates
including this recently

person but this is starting to get
Have better things to do with my time then rant. Yes *I* do have this same
problem. I also have that freedom to state my option. Again this is very
irritating.
Welcome to trisquelgnulinux! Glad you found a great community.
Thanks for sharing this info on BadUSB jxself. Is there a site you'd
recommend to learn more about this BadUSB? Thanks
Was looking forward to this. Will this ever be available for viewing?
From what your saying maybe the FSF should consider staying with Debian on
their servers. Only reason I mention this is because of the delays in
security updates with Trisquel.
When running any operating system security has to be the top priority then
stability. There are no excuses when it comes down to security. Hopefully
this is taken serious and rectified soon.
Lets just hope next time it doesn't take weeks to get these security updates.
I agree security should be #1 priority. Why such a delay with security
updates?
Hello all,
First off, I really enjoy reading Trisquel forums. I've learned a lot from
this great community. Every so often I'd like to bookmark a topic for future
reference but see no option for this. Is this option available, if not can we
possibly request this option for bookmarking in
Yes that could work but I use multiple devices. Makes more sense to have
bookmarks upon log in. Thanks for your suggestion.
Hello,
On Trisquel 6.0.1 and Evolution 3.2.3 I've never been able to get the
indicator applet 0.5.0 (envelope in panel) to show new email message counts,
it always shows 0. I verified plugin is enabled (evolution indicator) within
Evolution. Is this a broken feature, if so can anyone
No access into the software sources. I noticed the problem after installing
updates. When I click software sources in all settings or the settings button
in update manager it does nothing. This is a fresh install Trisquel 6.0.1 32
bit. Has anyone have or had this same problem recently? Any

Hi, I'm trying to run Trisquel from a boot disc. It prompts me to enter a
username/password. When I leave blank it fails. What do I need to enter to
log in? Any help appreciated. Thanks
That worked perfectly. Many thanks!
