This doesn't help monitoring, but you could try using a different DNS instead
of the one from your ISP.
For example:
The openNIC servers https://www.opennic.org/
openDNS from Cisco https://www.opendns.com/
or the public DNS from google, if you trust them.

After downloading Geany 1.32 from the website and installing onto Trisquel 7
