Have a look at this. It is GPL3. No need to get the device install on your
desktop.

Works well. Looks good.
Awesome. Get them in early.
Marvellous news. I'm in the pub at the moment. Looking forward to finishing
up my back ups and doing a fresh install. Thank you to everyone. Today is a
good day.
The FSF got a nice surprise.

You can get ClamAV for windows but it is done by 3rd parties.
Brilliant.
Yes.
"This alpha1 version of Dragora is available for x86 (32/64), and both
versions can be run as a live CD."
Riba Linux has just released an overview video of Uruk.

Yes I know but this a push by Google and Intel to get DRM into the kernel.
Most people in the FreeSoftware world use Intel for graphics this will stop
it. non-free is bad enough but now DRM. By the way I like Assange.
Google is pushing HDCP ( High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection ) or DRM
into the Linux kernel via Intel open source graphics driver. Not accepted yet
but just be a matter of time.

System76 are disabling Intel ME and all, I think, models that they sell.
People with more knowledge than me, could this lead to librebooting these
systems or is more needed.
Needless to say they are doing this from a security point not a FreeSoftware
point.
Have a look on ebay. I got my Librebooted Thinkpad T500 for £130 GBP and
free postage.
Nothing wrong with VLC its just that I prefer mpv.
Easy way. Log in. Try Alt+F2 and press R for restart. If it works its Xorg.
Use as much Free Software as possible but an older system, Core 2 Due, works
great. If you can't get a Libreboot system use as much Free software as you
can. Use a FULLY free OS, graphics and WIFI, and enjoy. Yes 80% is better
than 20%. Plenty of laptops out there to be 100%. Just go for it.
Wayland or Xorg?
Been a long time since I posted. Running Uruk on a Librebooted Thinkpad T500
and its running really smooth.
The installation worked without a hitch. Once installed and rebooted I run
the updates and rebooted again. No issues.
The control center is great. Nice short cuts to just about
