You're completely right. The set backs are a pain and the result could leave
you feeling like the hardware wasn't even worth much effort considering its
limitations!
When I hold Fn and press F2 or F3 to alter screen brightness nothing happens.
Also when I try to use Fn and alter the sound Trisquel 5.5 stops working
completely. I cannot click icons or enter text after attempting to use the
audio Fn shortcut at the top of my laptop's keyboard. Though
This did not work on my computer.

attempt to try and resolve this small annoyance. I enjoy working with these

an internet connection. I will attempt this.
