I had this issue upgrading my X200 laptop from Vikings (the last one I
upgraded/installed Trisquel 8 of some hardware that I own)...and then no were

I din't have any problems installing Trisquel 8 mini i686.iso in an netbook
atom N280.
checksum md5 ok, live image done witn "creador de discos de arranque" in USB
ok, booting and installing ok.
Success installing Trisquel 8 amd64.iso on a desktop ASUS/Intel.

The question is if my case is usual or not.
I had to delete 10 old linux-headers occupying 1 GB and many programs before
I could upgrade to Trisquel 8.
I didn't delete any old linux-kernels (maybe 1GB ?)
I don't use propietary software or 3D games.

I had to erase some programs and some old linux-headers (too many, too much

because Trisquel (preinstalled) comes whith libre kernel 4.13.X from FSFLA
"by default".
But when I press Fn+"moon" it shutdown. Then I have to press again Fn+"moon"
to reinitate... It doesn't work...

I vote "stay" in Ubuntu.
I like its user friendly environment that I see in Trisquel. Not Unity of
