I'm coming from debian, i usually use netinst iso, and during the
installation i will choose the DE. I'm now switching to trisquel, there is
any way to chose the DE before the installation? I prefear to install just
one DE, but on download page seem i have to chose and install MATE or LXDE

What about disgrete vga? Once upon a time gpu that had firmware inside his
rom, without the need to install on your os, so i can run trisquel or any
distro without installing non free software.
Afaik from nvidia everything works untill kepler, but what about amd? what is
