I made a fresh clean install, because i couldnt fix the gpg problem but maybe
someone else knows how to do so...
I installed Trisquel 8 nearly the same way...
I took a trsquel7 mini install and updated it until it got the new gpg keys
from 2017.. After updating i changed the sources.list to flidas and had
therefor no gpg errors... Then i had to only switch to systemd, because
upstart wasnt working prop

They want to mak an open hardware ppc notebook,
and i think its the most interesting project there is.

You can run Trisquel 8 without systemd as init, e.g. when you upgrade from
Trisquel 7 to 8(using upstart). But there are some dependencies with certain
packages like dnscrypt (probably more). At some point i couldnt shut down
anymore...

I put Trisquel, Boot Repair and Windows with yumi on one usb stick.
I just can't access Trisquel with Windows.
Boot Repair doesn't show any option. It just analyses the system and finishes
without having the possibility to do anything.

but when i restarted with bootrepair, it doesnt showed the option to repair.
did you install trisquel without bootloader? because it seems that bootrepair
thinks everythingworks fine.

Yea that website could be better, but i was just concerned about the Trisquel
issue.
Trisquel doesn't work with Windows (i still need it) and gnewsense is the
most up to date listed on fsf distro, which is working with my hardware.
I hope it will get fixed with Trisquel 7..., which also doesn

it is very incomplete.
i followed an forum in prism-break, where the argument for replacing it with
gnewsense was, that trisquel is based on ubuntu and so the risk for security
leaks and so on is to high...

in my opinion it could be the most advancend fsf distro, but with these
issues i wouldn't use
first try 1. win7 then trisquel: not working
second try 1. win7 then debian and then trisquel without grub install. after
updating grub in debian, i could select it in the grub loader, but with the
same problem like before... it also crashed the debian installation, windows
worked. trisquel
after deleting my whole system again, it works with debian only...
i think its a bug, related to windows. Or it's because of ahci mode.
trisquels grub version seems similar to debians grub version, but i cant
figure out whats wrong.
grub does start and shows everything...
with debian everything worked fine but with the trisquel grub not.
sry i'm new to linux. if the other solutions wont work i will check what
error messages are there.

when i install trisquel 6.0.1 and it sees there are other systems like win7
(for gaming only), then it installs the grub for more then one system...
but after rebooting none of them is actually able to boot!

i will try with my 4th trisquel install...
i had the belenos lts eol upgrade kernel installed.
the keyboard issue is not connected to trisquel.
but i'm forced, for not having lags, to go to suspend and wake it up.
then my keyboard works, but the screen looks weird ( at my external hdmi

ubuntu but it deinstalled some trisquel stuff.

working but i coudnt use my keyboard or mouse. I installed it for testing
