That's not a command. Use sudo emacs /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf. emacs is a text editor, you can replace it your favorite editor. I am not sure which you one you have installed.

I also tried writing: $ sudo /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf and got "command not found"
