There used to be CDEbian live CD. For anything else, CDE must be compiled.
You could get almost the same effect by installing mwm and xdm packages.
Hm aha, well its a good answer ;) I read somewhere that Trisquel had CDE
available as a desktop per default. But maybe that was at some time in the
past? Bummer...
