This is just LightDM, not MATE, right? If so, just click on the
accessibility icon at the top right and disable the screen reader.

I hope that doesn't happen. This helps people with visual impairments use
Trisquel easily. Accessibility features are an important part of Trisquel's
standard edition.
Ah, good ol orca, always a pain in the ass lol.
I think they should at least lower the sound of orca to 50% at least or do
like parabola/hyperbola and have a seperate version with it enabled.

Agreed. It's easier for someone who doesn't need accessibility features
to disable them than for someone who does need them
More often than not the (USB live) system is so slow to boot or complete the
boot that the screamer starts on its own.
I mean, It's really awesome to have that program but I think that enabling It
by default It's not a good idea since the majority of users doesn't have
accessibility problems. If you think about it,a person who has accessibility

That could work. Or a dialog at first login to configure accessibility

From personal experience: If one needs the accessibility in order to turn on
the accessibility, that's not acceptable.
