Happy New Year! I was interested in using Docky as an app launcher, and it
worked pretty well most of the time, but then I realized it would not allow
me to pin EVERY program to the dock. It seems if you install a program
manually, you cannot pin it to the doc. Does anyone know how I can get
Try the plank dock. Plank is very nice, lightweight and it does pin every
application, manually installed or whatever.
I remember this issue with docky btw and I remember I managed to find a
solution to it, but for the life of me I can not remember what was it.
