Hi,
I am having problems with lightdm (Trisquel 7). The login screen does not
appear so I always have to start it from text mode with sudo start lightdm.
I already tried sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm.
Any suggestions to solve this issue?
Did you execute the following command?
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm

obviously your xserver runs after starting it manually. So the problem should
be related to the runlevel at which the display manager is started.
