Trisquel 8 was recently released. This is an announcement to let everyone
know: Minifree's FSF-endorsed Libreboot-preinstalled laptops now have
Trisquel 8 instead of 7.
This comes alongside our recent heavy price cuts, for all products:

Is there a powertop script for Trisquel 8 available somewhere yet?
I found a mention of powertop.debian on

powertop.trisquel7 as part of the latest libreboot archive but unfortunately
it doesn't seem to work well i
that's part of the old build system. feel free to fix it up and submit a
patch
