PDFedit uses Qt 3, first released in 2001 (Qt 4 arrived in 2005; Qt 5 in 2012). Yet PDFedit properly installs on Trisquel 7... if you find the .deb packages! Assuming you use a 64-bit system (executing 'arch' in a terminal would tell), I put the required packages on my Web page:

http://dcc.ufmg.br/~lcerf/pdfedit_0.4.5-2_amd64.deb


Download them and install them in this order: libqt3-mt_3.3.8-b-8ubuntu3_amd64.deb first and pdfedit_0.4.5-2_amd64.deb second. To do so, you can use 'sudo dpkg -i package-file.deb' or you can first install the "gdebi" package (using the package manager) and then double-click on the .deb files.
