I can confirm that downgrading to DAVdroid 1.9-ose seems to solve the
problem.
The problem will be fixed in version 1.9.2

I experienced this -- twice!
First time: I updated DAVdroid on my Galaxy S3, with the latest stable build
of Replicant, which I had been using since its release September, and
Replicant immediately goes into what appears to be an endless reboot loop.
Second time: I wiped the 'data' and
Wish I knew how to update my replicant phone. The repo does not work at all
right now even though I can connect to the internet via dongle... weird
right?
but maybe now is a terrible time. xD
At least two users of Replicant (including myself) have reported problems
with the latest version of DAVdroid breaking their system:
