Yea. We haven't had anybody else report such absurdly high fees to Italy or anywhere else. The roughtly 20% import tax (VAT) is normal for many countries on most if not all of our products.

Even if the VAT now is at 23%, the additional fee is unexplained. I would prefer give them to Trisquel...

I'd really like to know how customs managed to screw it up that badly. I just took a look at what it should have been. There should not have been any duty for a wifi card in Italy and the VAT should have been 21%. The VAT is high enough as it is that they don't need to charge more than the co

Yea- unfortunately I'm not sure we can do much about it. That mostly depends on Italy and if it is part of the free trade zone. From what I understand if we setup operation in the UK and ship from the UK it would bypass customs entirely for many countries in Europe. My understanding is there

Chris, you are quite right. I forgot a part of speech I know that in Italy the delays are often due to storage at the custom, so it is likely that the goods was arrived in about ten days, but ... Sometimes the packs are "lost" in the world of nothingness. Ciao

Trisquel is still using the ar9170usb driver for the 802.11N USB card. The newer carl9170 firmware is actually better for the 802.11N USB card. Fewer compatibility issues. Unfortunately 802.11N does not always work as well with some devices (different standards and implementations). The newer
