I just install MATE using $ sudo apt-get install mate-desktop, but it's not correctly. Resolution is too small, and menu "Programs" not works. And during install dpkg shows some error at end.

Once you have rebooted into your brand new terminal-only environment, execute: $ sudo apt-get install mate-desktop

I want to install Trisquel 7, but only with MATE Desktop. Is there any way to install it without X windows (pure system in text mode) and then install xorg lightm and MATE 1.8.1? How to do it?
