It is actually very trivial at this point to worry if this older layout doesn't pass the validator when the actual OS we are waiting for (Trisquel 6) keeps getting pushed back. Wait until that comes out first before bugging Ruben.

Trisquel's homepage does not pass the W3 validator. Neither does the download page. Could someone please fix this?

You could file a bug report under Web if you can find a good reason to fix it. It's parsed as HTML since MIME type is text/html so it's not really a big issue anyway.
