the few to know the truth about the wise men. Almost everyone
believes that there were three and that they came to the stable when
Jesus was born. The only question you missed was number
four.
When Mary brought her offering (Luke 2:23-24), she
brought two doves. Leviticus, chapter twelve, tells us
that this offering is to be a lamb, unless she is unable to offer
a lamb, in which case, she can substitute two doves. THe answer
then, is they were too poor to offer a lamb.
