Dear Ones,

Why is it that we sometimes hurt the ones who are closest to us?  Why is it that we sometimes seem to have so much in common with somebody else, only to find that we differ on smaller points, and then we loose sight of our true Master, Who is able to lead each of us in His time?

Only God can make a hair white or black.

"Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.  Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet [water] and bitter?  Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so [can] no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.  Who [is] a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom."  [JAM 3:10-14]

"Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man."  (Colossians 4:6)

Love,

Marlin
