Thanks to everyone for making the Installfest a success. It was good to see so many folks having Linux installed, others for coming down to help, and some providing Star Wars and soda. I believe we had a pretty high rate of success. And given that it lasted more then 7 hours, I think it went by

Hey all, So I have an RS 6000 that I've been wanting to mess around with but haven't been able to get going-- I was wondering if there would be anyone would be interested in messing around with it--and if yes and lots of people perhaps at a future TSLUG meeting? Lemme know what you all think :-)

That's very true, I'm guessing that the RS6000 you have is the old c10 that I tried linux on at one point. I finally got a copy of AIX5L for it. 5L is actually quite close to linux (L for Linux affinity) and will still give you all of the GNUness to play around on a different architecture. Only
