That's very true, I'm guessing that the RS6000 you have is the old c10
that I tried linux on at one point. I finally got a copy of AIX5L for
it. 5L is actually quite close to linux (L for Linux affinity) and
will still give you all of the GNUness to play around on a different
architecture. Only

If it's a MicroChannel RS6K, then you are SOL for getting Linux going on it.
There's just no interest in reverse engineering outdated, obsolete hardware at
this point for MicroChannel anything.
