No release notes in Tuscany Java SCA binary distribution --------------------------------------------------------
Key: TUSCANY-999 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-999 Project: Tuscany Issue Type: Improvement Components: Java SCA Common Affects Versions: Java-Mx Environment: all Reporter: Simon Nash Priority: Minor Robert Burrell Donkin made the following comment on the Tuscany Java SCA M2 release: > i couldn't see any obvious release notes. release notes are important > guerilla advertising for open source projects. the same content can be > used on the download page, grassroots media (freshmeat.org, for > example), in announcements and (of course) in plain text in the root > directory of the release. This information does exist but appears to be misplaced. There is a readme.html file in the samples distribution with information on what is in this release and what has changed since the previous milestone release. For future releases, it would be good to include release notes in the binary distribution with this information. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
