I agree we should be consistent. The only thing I might add is the only way I know to do this in maven is using finalName in the build section of the pom.xml This has the behavior that what's produced in the target directory is the specified name, but in repo the name still follows the conventi

Any comments on the sample war and jar names? Currently we have a mix of things like 'webapp', 'sample-supplychain-1.0-incubator-M2-SNAPSHOT.jar', ' sample-helloworldjsonrpc.war'. Including the 'sample-' prefix seems good to me, and presumably we only need the -incubator- part if we're separately
