The main reason KFRC never used "Boss Radio" (they were always "The Big 610") was that Drake had used the "boss" handle pre-RKO when he programmed crosstown KYA. My recollection is that, among the RKO properties, only KHJ used "boss" under Drake, although countless imitators appropriated the wo
