At least in modern Who the Doctor tends not to sing. I figured since Corden was already on two episodes of Who he probably wasn't going to be the next Doctor.  And yes, I know they made an exception with Capaldi. Also, aren't Daily Mail pieces written with the same amount of journalistic rigour
