There seems to be evidence of negligence on set at least in part by Baldwin
as producer. As he’s also the one who pulled the trigger, his guilt seems
doubly obvious.

Julian Sands isn’t a name I knew, but he’s been in a lot of things.
There are actually a few people missing in the Mt. Baldy area after the (by
local standards) severe weather, but Sands is the only marginally famous
one.

The pioneering rocker, sacked from the Byrds, gained fame with Stephen
Stills, Graham Nash and later Neil Young; he also took to acting beginning
in the 90s, such as in the Dustin Hoffman/Robin Williams comedy *Hook*, and

Olbermann was living in Trump Tower while he was berating how evil Trump
was. He has no credibility to criticize anyone else’s liberalism.

I wasn’t aware until this week that Olbermann wasn’t a Colbert fan either,
having said “he’s not as liberal as he would like you to believe.”
Anderson Cooper is already in that spot and he could handle the comedy/news
show while not being out of place if breaking news happens during his show.
The latest installment comes from one of the breaks in either the November 29th
or November 30th show when the horns from Huntertones (which includes Late Show
band trumpeter/tubist Jon Lampley) sat in with the Late Show Band.

The CW ended their one hour of daytime programming--a holdover from the
days of afterschool kids shows on The WB--a few years ago. The last show
they ran in the daytime was Jerry Springer reruns--before that, it was talk
shows with rightwing radio guy Bill Cunningham, Tyra Banks and Dr. Drew and

Also, to Tom's point about NYC of the '80s...how would Times Square Elmo,
Karens on the warpath and Vape Enthusiasts Gone Wild compare to the
hookers, addicts & general weirdos from the original series?

I'm going to assume it's a clearance issue, or that Nexstar assumes that
the normal syndicated daytime programming will still score better ratings
than Blood Money Grassy Hole.

Although I notice even the CW can't be bothered to give up whatever it
carries regularly on Fridays. Coverage of the first day of events is
relegated to their app...

And as Lesley Goldberg indicated in the link, the "Dare to Defy" era is
over at the C-Dub and they're going after the older audiences on the
smaller network stations that watch the talk shows and reruns.

Reports suggest that the tournament is not paying for access, but it seems
unlikely that this was a big money deal, since basically every other

I wonder how much this is part of the issue: 2020s "Night Court" episodes are
probably 3-4 minutes shorter than 1980s "Night Court" episodes due to the
increase in commercial time. (I also wonder if that's why they only have one
bailiff instead of two.)

Agree about BriWi.
Jonathan Lemire, who hosts Way Too Early on MSNBC, was entertaining the
other night on Seth Meyers. I've never seen his show, but he's an actual
reporter who might work well. Although leaving the relative stability of
MSNBC for CNN sounds like buying a lottery ticket to me.
I swear to you, when I first started seeing promos for their show, I
thought it was a satire of reality shows.
I never watched because I have zero interest in reality shows (Amazing Race
excepted). When I kept seeing the promos, I eventually realized that if it
*was* satire, it was an unwitting
