A premise with a lot of potential, none of it realized. Pleasant enough
from the point of view of nostalgia, but devoid of substance. Probably best
to just watch the movies from that era and avoid this documentary
altogether.

Something that I hope comes to Broadway sooner rather than later is "Buena
Vista Social Club." I saw it off-Broadway at the Atlantic, and it blew the roof
off the dump. The biggest problem with a transfer, though (to me) is that so

I usually try to make it to Broadway at least twice a year (spring and
fall), so I'm always interested in suggestions, and I really appreciate
those posted here.
I put shows into 3 categories.
1. Must see on Broadway because the story really appeals to me, or
David Chase, at a 25-year reunion of *Sopranos* cast Thursday at NY's
Beacon Theater, part of this year's Tribeca Film Festival honoring Alex
Gibney's HBO docu "Wise Guy..." Gibney's interview of Chase is done on the
old set in "Dr. Melfi's office"...
