I'm the reverse. I much prefer the longform pieces to the "what did Trump
do this week" first segment. That probably just goes to show that we're
becoming far too inured to actually quite shocking things.
My biggest problem with the longer segments is that they get *too* punched
up with gags. I
I have struggled to watch the long-form bits of LWT, not because they're of
poor quality or unfunny, but just because I am so overwhelmed with society
right now that it's just one more thing that I feel like is dumped on my
emotional shoulders. And I feel guilty because of it, because you do not
