Smash, where he liked the parts of the musical and did not like the
personal stories plots as much.
He did, however note this:

Unfortunately, it will have stay attached to "The Voice"'s coattails to be
successful and I'm still not convinced that another season of that show in
the fall is a good idea (not to mention more of that awkward banter between
Megan Hilty, Kat McPhee and Carson the Tool every week on the tail end of
Peacock network renews the back stage look at making a Broadway
musical for a sophomore outing. As a native New Yorker and frequent
Broadway patron I really like this show and am glad it'll be around
next season.
