I think a 30 minute version of "Pigs in Space" would be on a par with Star
Trek TOS, to be honest, but I've never been a trekkie/trekker/fanboy so I
can understand why there might be resistance to this assessment.

All the official Muppet-related social media are promoting some sort of
Pigs In Space announcement or event live at 9am PST on Friday. This was
always a favorite segment of The Muppet Show, and if it somehow became a
series or movie premise, I'd be on-board.
