Unlike seemingly everyone else of my generation, I could not stand "Miami Vice" but "Crime Story" was one of my favorite dramas of the 1980s. Farina's dead-pan, noir cop archetype was a big part of that. He was a good character actor who stood out in every TV show and movie he was a part of. http:
