Maybe fewer people want to see Sheryl Crow and Brad Paisley together
than would watch either on his/her own. Maybe not.

It probably has more to do with ratings. I've read more than once that
musical acts end up at the end of the 11:30 shows because there's so
much tuneout, and that would be a bigger issue on Leno with the late
local news upcoming.
