Michaela Watkins and Casey Wilson have been dropped from the cast of "Saturday Night Live." The two have been replaced by Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad. Watkins's firing has been seen by some as the bigger of the two -- Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello tweeted, "Confirmed: SNL has fired Michaela Watkins. DUMBEST. MOVE. EVER. (Casey Wilson has also allegedly been dropped)." To be fair to Wilson, who was in 30 more sketches last season than Watkins, she never really had the opportunity to carve out any trademark characters or impressions for herself.
