They had a lot of contestants this season and adjustments from two tribes to three tribes back to two tribes before the merge--and at least one dropout. I don't recall them having as many as five contestants left as of the beginning of the last episode of the season. Mark Jeffries Saints Spotligh

I think I just saw two episodes of Survivor edited down to one single "hour" show. Why did they do that, and have they done it before? I know they often have a 2-hour show with 2 episodes at or near the end of the season, and I think maybe once they had a surprise second elimination at the same tr
