I'm using 32-bit platform in this case; AIR seems to install fine. I will try @desktopdeck and see what they think. I have installed Tweetdeck/AIR on 64-bit Fedora before and used similar info as you provided to make it work. However, as noted, I'm only using a 32-bit platform.
