[TYPO3] custom action on failed access (front end)

When you hit a page that you don't have access to on front end right now it just redirects you. I'd like to take the user to a custom page or make a custom action. Can I do this with typoscript or has any one ever done this? I'm trying to find out where its doing the check and see if theres a hook
