[TYPO3] JS-Ticker only shows up once

I'm using config.removeDefaultJS = external, yet I still have a pile of extension related js in my pages. Is there anything I can do to move it out, or is it just because of the way the extensions are coded? I'm running 4.1.5. Thank you. Simon ___ T
