I have TYPO3 installed in a folder www.mysite.com/cms/
realurl works fine on it.
However I added www.mysite.com/CMS/
If I use www.mysite.com/CMS/ , it results in a TYPO3 content not
rendered anymore for as well www.mysite.com/cms/ as www.mysite.com/CMS/
unless I clear cache

Do you have some IE setting that is allowing cookies/javascript on a
per-site basis? For example, have you tried restoring all settings to the
default?
IE7/4.2RC1 logs in OK for me.

Check TSConfig with info module. But this time look for "allowTags" and
"removeTags" (!)- they are configured at more than one place, probably
you can figure out, where the tag you use is stripped out.

thanks for you hint but unfortunatelly it was not enough :-(
In effect "titolo1" and "titolo2" are my css classes but what it's not
working here it's just the underline tag ("u" or "em") that's applied on
text by clicking on the toolbar button.
It seems typo3 rejects this tag...
