has anybody found a way to prevent DAM from using the
upload_max_filesize of the frontend?
I have a .htaccess file in the fronted that limits upload size and post
size. I have another .htaccess file in the backend to increase it a
little. The old file module uses the settings in the
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-

what about placing a copy of the back-end .htaccess in the /mod*/
folders of DAM?

Thanks Niels, great idea. I totally forgot that DAM is a local extension
and therfore not in the typo3 folder. I placed the backend .htaccess
file also into the typo3conf folder and
