today I have been playing around with running TYPO3 on
quercus and I had some success with it, although it doesn't run
perfectly yet.
Did anybody else try this? If so, what are your successes?

FYI,
the BE works now. Which was basicly a memory limit I had to set.
But it looks like that content elements within TV are not rendered
properly.
This might be an XML issue because I had problems this this before.

The reason my content elements didn't show up was because PHP's XML
parser is much less
picky then java's version.
I had to put my typoscript content of my DS in CDATA tags, after that
it worked well.

working together, There is a new release in development in beta but it
hasn't been relased unt
This is very interesting, but the download for the software is
disabled and a release date of August 2007 is a few months past. Do
you know the status?

using quercus. Quercus is a java implementation of PHP, so
no need for mod_php + apache.
