I have locked myself out of the typo3 backend. I can't remember what I did,
but I know I screwed around with passwords, and now I can't login.
Of course, the passwords are encrypted, and I am not sure what I need to do.

Do you still have access to the install tool? You can create a new admin
user there.

Yeah I can (didn't think I could when I first emailed) ... but I can't work
out where to make a new admin.
And all the passwords are encrypted there too... so I am not sure how I
should be enteri
Hello Cate,
In the Install Tool, go to "2: Database Analyzer". Then below there is
an option "Create admin user". Make sure you're not in 1-2-3 mode though.

Thank you, thank you, thank you I even looked at that page, but it
didn't sink in that Admin user was there!
