Hi Kristian
Are you working with tinymce_rte. If yes deactivate this one as Jeff found a
bug in tinymce_rte which is causing this and has already reported to the
developers.
Do one thing
Install a NAKED Typo3 package with the default tables, than activate
Frontend editing. This should actually work

But this is a bit uncool as the rest of the fron

Hi
I experimented a bit with it and discovered that it seems NOT to be working
with tinyMCE_rte
and also it is NOT loading with htmlarea.
But when you disable both you will have the usual text input field
available.
Does anyone has got it working with any real text editors and perhaps could

Than you log into the backend and go to the frontend. It should work
instantly. You don't need to assign a fronenduser to the backenduser or
stuff like this.
Above your Page appears a Bar which helps you to create and edit pages a

Hi Andi,
Can you tell what to do to get this feature running.
Do I have to uninstall the old version? I think so. And so I did.
But what I do does not matter, all I get, if I have the new version
installed, is an empty screen. Even the source is totally empty.
I've also installed it with the ins

Ok I have got it
Thanks Ries. Yeah it is a very good and very intuitive way to edit pages
without accessing the backend.
Is there a way to have people logged in in the Backend and immediately
directed to the frontend instead of getting into the backend at all?

Andi,
I don't know details but I remember it just showed up,
I was doing some other testing so I don't know details.
You still need a BE account, FE users have (as far as I still know)
nothing
to do with FE editing (it's more like FE editing by a BE)
I very briefly tested and see it, and they
Yes Ries
That is what we have already done. But how can you get it working also in
the frontend?
After installing the extension only nothing is working so there need to be
much more steps.
What about the connection feuser and backend user - is this needed? if Yes
