This is not insecure :) It is quite typical to have TS in the files in
fileadmin/.

Probably... If it is a TYPO3 hoster, they can do it in the vhost config too.

RealURL does not have a "problem" in this case. Neither it requires .htaccess.

What do you mean by 'secure'? TYPO3 works quite well without a .htaccess
file. It's just things like RealURL which will have problems as far as I
know..
