In this case, the problem came from an include () in localconf.pho which
was not correct.

was not there anymore... Commenting out the include gave me back the
login-screen!

From this line:
lib.field_logo.file = {$logoFile}
It look like your path to logo file is set up in TypoScript constants.
So check if you have there something like:
logoFile = fileadmin/images/logo.png
Also, if you have a line like that, check if file exists on that location.
