Quick question: Is there any plan to integrate the docs better into the
TER?
I find it a good bit odd that I have to follow four links from the
extension to it's manual on docs.typo3.org (e.g. with news).

heard of REST. Also is there away to convert existing OOo manuals to this
new format... I have some pretty long manuals... I really don't want to have
to write them by hand in the new format.

in order to close this topic:
it was my fault because i installed an older version of sphinx (1.0.0) instead
of the actual 1.1.2. There is no error with the actual version.
