Hi, i would like to use secure downloads for CType "File links"; After activating it in TS-Constants (styles.content.uploads.jumpurl_secure = 1) the links to the files are "protected". Anyway the files are copied to /uploads/media ... and i fear to protect this folder by using .htaccess; All ContentElement images (Text&Pic, Images ecc.) are copied to this folder too. Don't know if i remember right but i think in certain circumstancesaccess to this folder is required. For example if an image doesn't get downscaled because it is already small enough .. Is it safe to .htaccess protect the uploads/media folder?
If i use the "Path" feature in "File Link" CE than this problem does not appear because the files are not copied to uploads/media but instead linked directly.
