is there a way to get my frontend output into one line? i don't no how to get
parseFunc hooked up to use stripNL? maybe i am wrong about stripNL and there is
a different way to remove whitespaces and newlines?

There is a 'sourceopt' [1] extension, that does such things, if you not
afraid of parsing the whole FE content by it ;)
