I don't have any specific knowledge of Epson printers but on HP you can cause the printer to shift to postscript personality by sending then following: PRINT CHAR(27):'%-12345X': PRINT '@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE = PostScript' This turns off the default PCL processing and enables postscript. Ron White
